My podcast – “It’s Special”

Tracey Spencer Walsh recording a podcast
⚫️ Last spring, on one of my long walks through nature, the idea of starting a podcast for special needs families and professionals came to me. I now have recorded several podcasts, and conducted interviews with top professionals in the field and these podcasts will launch soon and hopefully by February. It is exciting work and I am always excited to speak with highly intelligent and knowledgeable people in the world of special education. I missed meeting and speaking with these professionals, as I would prior to Covid, at a hearing, at an event, or at a conference.
⚫️ My podcast, is “It’s Special.” I realized just having a video chat with these highly knowledgeable professionals or telephone call was not enough, because you could not hear our conversation, and may never know what I learned. My podcast is a way to allow you and anyone in the public to overhear my conversations with these esteemed professionals. I realized that so many of you would benefit from these conversations and I want you to overhear our dialogue. I will let you know as soon as it launches so that you can tune in.
⚫️ I know how incredibly difficult this last year has been for you. Being a parent to a child with special needs is challenging in and of itself and you have had the added unchartered challenge of a global pandemic, resulting in illness, fear, school shutdowns, and much more.
– With Love ❤️
